We Could Always Go Home

I somehow wish it was constantly raining. I love every aspect of it: the cold, sodden air wrapping against every exposed skin, the sound of water pattering against window panes, the softened dissonance under the world engulfed by raindrops. The mood- the ‘rainy day mood’ feels different too. Just imagine it: it is raining- the world is dark and sinking under raindrops- or concealed tears, and a single lamplight flickers in your room. It is very quiet, and you turn on the music, its muffled lyrics roaming soothingly by your ears… Well, I can’t hope much for Singapore for now- every day is a continuum of scorching sun and dry air, that I can barely breathe outside.

Today’s Recommendation: Maurice Ravel – “Pavane pour une infante défunte”
